  • 1.5 pounds ground pork higher fat content recommended for juiciness; ground beef or other meats can also work

Method
 

Step 1: Mix the Spice Blend
  1. Start by gathering the spices into a large bowl. Use a whisk to ensure they blend well. The colors should come together to form a beautiful mix of reds and browns.
Step 2: Incorporate the Ground Pork
  1. Next, take your ground pork and add it to the bowl of spices. Use your hands to mix it all together. Get in there and make sure the meat is well coated. This step is crucial for the flavor.
Step 3: Add the Liquid Ingredients
